I couldnt stay silent any longer. I just dont believe he is dead. He's had to lie most of his life. When he was 12 years old they didnt think he would be as cute to sell as many albums unless he said he was 10. He clearly lied on National television on an NBC interview about many things. He is Michael Jackson. He can become anyone, and do anything. Even his family members arent displaying an overabundance of remorse over the death of their beloved Michael. What better way to hype a departure from his current life then to go out like Elvis. I personally think MJ the singer and performer is dead, but he is performing a new life now. Dont believe the hype. MJ the human is alive.click on this. However, from the bottom of my heart, if he has left us, I hope he finds a more peaceful place. On this day we take for granted that it's a holiday , a time to relax, a time to party, hang out with our family and friends, a time to enjoy the finer things in life. I hope you also take time to think about those who were called to duty to defend our country and to sacrifice their lives so that we may live ours. I'm totally not a fan of any war and can't understand how one human can be driven to kill another but it's happened, and it's happening today. Not only impacting lives of hudreds and thousands of service men and women, but also impacting their families. This is my tribute to you. Thank you for the brave impacts you have made in your lifetime. You are remembered. You are missed. Hopefully the current troops will be home soon. My heart goes out to you all.

Virginia Tech Horror

Yesterday a gunman went on a rampage and killed at least 33 people and injured many more on the campus of Virginia Tech. University in Blacksburg Virginia. It is considered the worst massacre killing spree in U.S. history. This is the second time in less than a year the school was closed down because of a shooting. I have spent time on that campus and had friends with ties to that school. My heart goes out to the victims and their families and I will burn a candle in their memory. Grand Canyon Skywalk

Well I made it to the Skywalk on the Grand Canyon western rim. The first disapointment was the drive out there. 121 miles from Las Vegas. The last 21 miles is the absolute worst dirt road I have ever driven across. I highly suggest renting a vehicle with 4 wheel drive. Cars do make it through though. The only way to see the skywalk is to pay a package price. $74.95 a person. Use your AAA card because they also charge a tribal tax of 7%. When a bus takes you to the walk, you must leave all bags, pocket books, cameras, cell phones, etc. No photography while on the walk. They claim they wish to protect the grand canyon from falling items. Security guards everywhere. You put socks over your shoes and walk on a thick glass hanging 4000 feet above the canyon. You can have your photo taken for 15 dollars. The next stop Guano Point. You can literally walk along the edge of the rim. The buffet is a scam. Tin trays with gnarly chicken and barbecue beef. Not too appetizing but you can eat it in a picturesque setting. The road will be paved in June. Negotiations are underway and Trump or Wynn will get the bid to build 2 hotels, casino, amusement park, and the airport is currently being expanded to accept commercial flights. Even though I paid a hefty price it was neat to think I was there before the mass influx of progress.See more photos here.

I visited the Griffith Observatory in L.A. this past weekend. It was recently renovated and open to the public and is a great place too see if you are ever in the area. The planetarium show was the best ever and the rest of the museum was just as interesting. Probably one of the best views around. I will definitely return here.

I was driving in a San Diego neighborhood last night and saw a coyote running across the road. Today when I woke up I saw on the news a coyote was in a Quizno's store in Chicago. I'm thinking that nature is getting smarter and turning to natural energy drinks rather than wasting all their energy within the circle of life in the food chain. Go Sobe!!!

The Grand Canyon Skywalk recently opened on the west rim of the Grand Canyon. It's a glass bridge presented by the Hualapai Tribe extending out over the edge 4000 feet above. I think next week I will drive out there and blog the scene. Then again Friday the 13th is coming up. Irish luck would have me hanging on for dear life.

20 years ago I was in the U.S. Navy and served as an aircraft mechanic. I always wanted to be a pilot but my responsibility to be qualified to start the aircraft engines and have it totally inspected and signed off for the pilots was quite an honor. On September 1th, 2001 at 8:30 a.m I was sitting on an airplane in Tampa, Florida. At 8:45 it started to take off and then lowered it's landing gear and returned us back to the airport. The airport was in panic but as the day went on the world seemed to stand still. The next morning I was able to rent the last available car where I drove non-stop 24 hours to New England. I was able to drive around the Pentagon on 395 very close. I was also one of the first cars allowed to cross the George Washington Memorial Bridge in NYC. I saw it all. I was in shock and never photographed anything except with my own mind. My heart goes out to those who lost their lives, to those who lost loved ones, and to those who lived to tell the story and are suffering to this day. It's a different world we live in now and I pray for better times. Never Forget. The Victims of 9-11-01.

It was a great holiday weekend to be an American unfortunately I spent most of it in bed. (cough cough) I did get to drive from Orange County, California to LAX Airport near L.A. the night of July 4th at around 9 P.M. I've never seen so many fireworks in my life. The highway is raised just enough so you can see every neighborhood's legal fireworks, and every neighborhood's illegal fireworks. It was a beautiful site until I reached Torrance where it looked like they were aiming the fireworks at the highway. A woman on the news quoted the event as being a like scene from Bagdahd. I find it amazing that one of the most flamable states has the most fireworks, but it was still pretty kewl.

One of the reasons I made it out to the San Diego County Fairthis year is because the famous marine life artist WYLAND will be painting a new mural on the side of one of the buildings on the grounds. A group of atheists have fought hard to remove this cross and it seems they have won. Mt. Soledad will soon lose it's landmark but people like myself are willing to make sure it stays. This is a small part of the Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial in San Diego, California. It has been built as a bas to a cross that has been on top of this hill and sat proudly here since 1914. It hosts a 360 degree view of the mountains and ocean of San Diego County. It serves as an inspiration for sailors coming back to port after being out to sea.

I used to be addicted to caffeine. Any way I could consume it I would. 10 Diet Cokes a day as well as several cups of Java. I checked my blood pressure the other night when I got home from work. My Pulse is 54 bpm but my blood pressure is 170 over 110. This spooked me and I have since changed my diet and drinking habits. I have been ill ever since. Tomorrow I throw in the towel and see a doctor. Stay Tuned.

How could anyone want to interrupt these guys when there is so much beach available? Years before this was meant to be a childrens wading pool. It became a sanctuary for seals to rest and give birth. I wonder when the people who are for immigration reform will hold their own rally. I heard from a local radio station that they were glad that this rally took place because the freeways were less crowded. I personally did not see it affect any lives in the suburbs so it seems that this only the beginning of a long battle between the safety of our borders and the accesibilty for immigrants to obtain a citizenship.

My Grandmother owned some antique wicker rocking chairs that came from her family's house in Boston, Massachusetts. Before I moved to San Diego I decided that I must part with them. A woman in Niagra Falls Canada drove to Connecticut after winning a bid on EBAY and here in this photo you can see that they have found their place in the world. To this day I am still friends with her and this is what I call the circle of life. I dedicate this photo to all my friends who visit this blog and to their quest to find their place the circle of life.

Eleven hours before this photo was taken, a love triangle ended one life and almost fatally wounded another at this very location where I live. If time permitted I could have been caught in the crossfire. But my question is...where do people lose faith and feel that Life is so Invaluable?

This photo was taken two days ago. The price of this gas now is $3.22. There is a place in Kirkwood, California at $3.57 a gallon. A gas station under the Brooklyn Bridge in New York was charging $4.50 a gallon. Conspiracy??

Here is a photo taken with my camera of an Ayatollah crossing an intersection in Iran. A friend of mine recently visited there. There are two types of people living in Iran. The religious hardliners and the residents that struggle to live a life free from troubles, free from corruption, free of greed, work on a daily basis and support their families or strive to attain an education. Two thirds of Iran is under 30 years old and Iran is the 4th biggest blog community in the world. here in California there is a large successful Iranian population comprised of doctors, buisnessmen, and architechts. Most uneducated Americans assume that Iran is a country of poor Arabs that are religious extremists, they all hate America, and we should go to war against them. Iranians are not Arabs and most would rather have Iran open its doors to some of our Western cultures. Here are some video clips from CNN International. If you have time, please take a moment and see their side of the world. Visit a blog from Iran or about it's people and understand the compassion and endurance of their lifestyles. The recent immigration reform has stirred up many students here in Southern California and other states. It is my opinion that most of the students don't know what they are actually protesting and of course I never really think that the government has a clue what they are doing. This is America. Like it or not the flag is here to stay, we do have laws, and there are many issues that need to be resolved. We need to make it less complicated for immigrants to enter the United States for work or to be citizens, especially the hard working people of Mexico that help keep this country together on a daily basis. We also need to protect our borders from those who could inflict harm. I'm sure a solution can be made from this and why this is being put on a burner while congress takes a two week vacation is beyond me.

I saw this desert flower blooming while on a walk and realized that the world is a beautiful place. However bothers me that with all the troubles in the world, Katie Couric has a 5 year contract at around 15 Million a Year with CBS and is being replaced on the Today show with Meredith Vieira at 10 Million a Year. I personally think thats a waste of money and it should be used for a better cause.
