An early snowstorm caused havoc in Buffalo, N.Y., crippling the metropolitan area and its northern and eastern suburbs.
More than 100,000 homes lost power in the lake-effect storm that took down numerous large trees, which also damaged homes and vehicles, the Buffalo News reported.
As much as 24 inches of snow hit some areas. It fell at up to 4 inches an hour overnight, WGRZ-TV reported.Can you say... Global Warming?

Whoa...it snowed here also last week but nothing that stayed. Now its in the 70's this weekend. :D
Scary it was. It snowed in Chicago and it too melted rapidly.
