I saw this little guy and decided to look up the California Laws on feeding the squirrels. To my dismay I found out that in January they planned on exterminating them in Santa Monica. Does this little guy look like a threat?

Exterminating squirrels?? That's crazy! Then again, you people out there in CA are insane.
i remember living in cleveland and they had a thing to kill all of the deer living in the parks..........because they caused a threat to drivers.......huge controversy. and yep, they allowed the rangers to shoot at will...........
Try growing a garden or container plants in a yard overcome by squirrels. These are rodents, complete with fleas, ticks, etc. Some are as large or larger than my 6lb dog. I wish someone in Lubbock, TX would advocate their extermination!
