Stem Cell Research Veto

"This bill would support the taking of innocent human life of the hope of finding medical benefits for others. It crosses a moral boundary that our society needs to respect, so I vetoed it," Bush said at a White House event. What a prick!!! Thousands of lives could be saved through this research and if he's so concerned about innocent human lives then why are we sending our men and women who are very much alive into unknown terroitory to be murdered by hostile insurgents? Is it me or is there a huge contradiction here?

Bush is a contradiction in and of himself.

I guess Dubbya feels that, like with everything else, the people who can't compete and get healthier on their own don't deserve to be helped (health capitalism?).

And, for some reason, the lives of people being sent to Iraq, the people OF Iraq, and our OWN poor and homeless have no value - as long as we protect the lives of the unborn.

What a prick, indeed.

He no longer fails to amaze me. I'm still not sure how it is he got elected.

Oxymoron in and of himself.

While I don't agree with the war in Iraq, war is war and there will always be wars until this world is not more--read Revelations.

I personally do not agree with stem cell research either. The creating of a life just to harvest pieces and parts is morally wrong. There is enough wrong in America, let's not add to it. Death and dying are a part of this life, which is just a short time in our real existence :-)

Ahhh yes, if they could only figure out a way to extract oil from stem cells, Bush would have them harvested like hay on a sun shiney day!

F'n idiot.....

REMEMBER TO VOTE!!!
