Internet Explorer Sucks.

I just became aware that most people in the world still use Internet Explorer as their web browser. Now I feel like a fool. I use Firefox and when I look at my blog it's much more organized than when I look at it from Internet Explorer. The award-winning Web browser Firefox just got better. It’s free, easy to use, and offers a faster, safer way to view the net. Join the millions of people worldwide enjoying a better Web experience. Click on the Firefox Icon on this page and I promise you will thank me later.

Honor the Fallen

Instead of a question and answer, it is appropriate this Memorial Day to salute all those who have given their lives in defense of this nation. Without their sacrifices we would not be free to ask questions, to challenge our political leaders and to take an active role in our system of government. To them we owe an unrepayable debt. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and be safe.

Think I'll Go For A Walk

Seems like I am always running into snakes in every aspect of my life. It's so much more exciting to face them head on than to walk around them.

San Diego Bay

A nice crisp early morning in San Diego. A great place to sip on coffee.

Island Hopping

I found a beautiful island off the coast of California. I think I'll build a home there and call it "I ROCK."

Fire Safe Cigarettes

I'm not a fan of smoking and I highly give praise to a group called the Coalition For Fire Safe Cigarettes. There are so many fires started by unattended butts that this sounds like a great idea. Visit their blog here and sign a petition to get it in action in your state. Cigarettes are the leading cause of home fire fatalities in the United States, killing 700 to 900 people - smokers and nonsmokers alike - every year. Do your part and get involved or just stop smoking. The very life you might save is your own.

Can't You C ??

Everybody claims to be an expert. These tasty looking fruits don't need experts to tell you that they are part of the key to good health. Full of Vitamin C.

Save Our Cross

A group of atheists have fought hard to remove this cross and it seems they have won. Mt. Soledad will soon lose it's landmark but people like myself are willing to make sure it stays. I say write to President Bush and ask him to step in. I am not even religious myself but it's really sad to see people hate something so much that they would go to great lengths to delete it.

Veterans Memorial

This is a small part of the Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial in San Diego, California. It has been built as a bas to a cross that has been on top of this hill and sat proudly here since 1914. It hosts a 360 degree view of the mountains and ocean of San Diego County. It serves as an inspiration for sailors coming back to port after being out to sea.

Easy on the Caffeine

I used to be addicted to caffeine. Any way I could consume it I would. 10 Diet Cokes a day as well as several cups of Java. I checked my blood pressure the other night when I got home from work. My Pulse is 54 bpm but my blood pressure is 170 over 110. This spooked me and I have since changed my diet and drinking habits. I have been ill ever since. Tomorrow I throw in the towel and see a doctor. Stay Tuned.

I Just Saved A Whole Lot On Insurance!!

I'm totally amazed that I could put my cell phone this close and this guy was totally unafraid.

In Memory Of My Grandmother

Don't Feed The Squirrels

I saw this little guy and decided to look up the California Laws on feeding the squirrels. To my dismay I found out that in January they planned on exterminating them in Santa Monica. Does this little guy look like a threat?

Honor Thy Mother

When I was 7 years old I came home from school to find out my mom had expired. This sunday gives you the chance to honor your moms and appreciate them for your existence. Pajamagram is a great last minute gift idea if you havent done so yet. Thank you Moms of the world and Happy Mothers Day.

Save The Seals

How could anyone want to interrupt these guys when there is so much beach available? Years before this was meant to be a childrens wading pool. It became a sanctuary for seals to rest and give birth. It has been an ongoing battle between the people who wish to destroy the seal harbor colony and the people who wish to preserve. I'd like to offer the La Jolla Friends of the Seals my full support.

Putting Out Fire With the Gasoline

Holy Guacomole'. Just a reminder GasBuddy.com.

Theatre Of Pain

I thought I fell into a time warp when I saw this building. Built in 1925, the Alician Court (Fox Fullerton Theatre) is just begging to be restored.

Main St. USA

Well actually it's Harbor Blvd. in Fullerton, California but it's great to see a nostalgic town survive the so called progress movement.

Californication

The 31st State in the Union once planned on putting a pear on this victory flag but instead the word was messed up and a bear was the flag created. I notice alot of blemishes involving the California State Government , still to this day. I can't complain, I still love it here.

I Love To Shop

Too bad I don't have any loot. Hahahahaha. This celebrity hangout, South Coast Plaza boasts top of the line fashion in Costa Mesa, California and the most profitable mall in the United States. I have even read that people from Japan plan their vacations around this mecca of retail.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm Thankful for that.

Teloscopic History

It is here where Hubbell sat in a chair and proved that there is more to the universe beyond the Milky Way. View these links from various astronomy websites for great images of beyond.

Mt. Wilson Observatory

History is alive and in the making here at Mt. Wilson.

On Top of the World

This Observatory is asleep in the woods during the day until the stars come out at night.

Boycotting the Boycott

I enjoyed the day by boycotting the boycott at the Rainforest Cafe where hopefully my money is also donated to making our environment a better place.

Immigration Rally

I wonder when the people who are for immigration reform will hold their own rally. I heard from a local radio station that they were glad that this rally took place because the freeways were less crowded. I personally did not see it affect any lives in the suburbs so it seems that this only the beginning of a long battle between the safety of our borders and the accesibilty for immigrants to obtain a citizenship.

The Great American Boycott

Today on May Day over 300,000 people gathered together in Los Angeles to protest immigration reform.
