Genocide

We can storm into Iraq and kill potential terrorists at millions of dollars per day yet we cant save the lives of innocent people living in a war torn country like Darfur in Sudan.
Every day, the 2.5 million people chased from their homes in Darfur face the threat of starvation, disease, and rape, while the few lucky enough to remain in their homes risk displacement, torture and murder. Therefore, we call on you to do the following:

* Strengthen the understaffed and overwhelmed African Union peackeeping force already in Darfur.

* Push for the deployment of a strong UN peacekeeping force.

* Increase humanitarian aid and ensure access for aid delivery.

* Establish a no-fly zone.

SNOW

An early snowstorm caused havoc in Buffalo, N.Y., crippling the metropolitan area and its northern and eastern suburbs.
More than 100,000 homes lost power in the lake-effect storm that took down numerous large trees, which also damaged homes and vehicles, the Buffalo News reported.
As much as 24 inches of snow hit some areas. It fell at up to 4 inches an hour overnight, WGRZ-TV reported. Can you say... Global Warming?

More shootings in a short matter of time. Is anywhere safe? Amish country terrorized. Is this a sign from God? On this same day a student was spotted in Las Vegas with a gun and the school was in lockdown. When will the madness stop? And they say Postal guys are psycho. I'm sure glad I'm not a milkman.

Ever feel like you're being followed? Not me. But I do love Panera Bread.

Why?

I still have to ask myself, with all of the problems in the world, at what point do children go wrong and have their minds twisted in to thinking that re creating a Columbine type massacre is kewl. Are these kids that far disassociated with society and involved with video games and information about death and destruction to want to believe that this is cool? My theory is that some people just shouldnt have kids. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and victims of the Dawson College Massacre in Montreal Canada and I hope that Kimveer Gill burns in Hell and that there arent more kids out there that want to continue on his legacy. Never Forget

On September 1th, 2001 at 8:30 a.m I was sitting on an airplane in Tampa, Florida. At 8:45 it started to take off and then lowered it's landing gear and returned us back to the airport. The airport was in panic but as the day went on the world seemed to stand still. The next morning I was able to rent the last available car where I drove non-stop 24 hours to New England. I was able to drive around the Pentagon on 395 very close. I was also one of the first cars allowed to cross the George Washington Memorial Bridge in NYC. I saw it all. I was in shock and never photographed anything except with my own mind. My heart goes out to those who lost their lives, to those who lost loved ones, and to those who lived to tell the story and are suffering to this day. It's a different world we live in now and I pray for better times. Never Forget. The Victims of 9-11-01.

Heaven Can't Wait

My guess is that Heaven had some serpents for Steve irwin to tackle. He was truly a hero in the world of nature promoting conservancy and awareness of creatures great and small. Full of energy and always smiling, with a life of friends and families to match. I highly respect the Crocodile Hunter and honor him with this post and the respect in my heart. News on his death.

The World Has Gone Mad

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (Rev. 20:11-15)

LETHAL WEAPON 5: The Breathalyzer Chronicles

Another hypocrite in the midst this time on the Pacific Coast Highway of Malibu, California. Mel Gibson pulled over for drinking and driving and now in rehab apologizing for his behavior. What they won't tell you on TV is that he yelled at a female police officer calling her "sugar tits", claiming ownership of Malibu, and before being shoved into a car screaming, "My life is fucked. I'm not going to get in your car… You motherfucker. I'm going to fuck you… Fucking Jews… The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world. Are you a Jew?" Wow... all this after making millions of dollars from making a movie about Jesus. Incidently he was supposed to be making a film about the Holocaust. Well... all that said, it's a troubled world we live in. Hope all works out for you Mel.

Securing America's Borders

Interesting reading about America's borders and what the facts are that most people don't hear about. I highly recommend this book available here.

Stem Cell Research Veto

"This bill would support the taking of innocent human life of the hope of finding medical benefits for others. It crosses a moral boundary that our society needs to respect, so I vetoed it," Bush said at a White House event. What a prick!!! Thousands of lives could be saved through this research and if he's so concerned about innocent human lives then why are we sending our men and women who are very much alive into unknown terroitory to be murdered by hostile insurgents? Is it me or is there a huge contradiction here?

The End Is Near

The state of the world today has me feeling quite stressed. I try to overcome these uneasy feelings but knowing the deterioration of the environment and seeing the outbreaks of war I feel hopeless because not enough people care to try to repair it.

Proud to Be An American

It was a great holiday weekend to be an American unfortunately I spent most of it in bed. (cough cough) I did get to drive from Orange County, California to LAX Airport near L.A. the night of July 4th at around 9 P.M. I've never seen so many fireworks in my life. The highway is raised just enough so you can see every neighborhood's legal fireworks, and every neighborhood's illegal fireworks. It was a beautiful site until I reached Torrance where it looked like they were aiming the fireworks at the highway. A woman on the news quoted the event as being a like scene from Bagdahd. I find it amazing that one of the most flamable states has the most fireworks, but it was still pretty kewl.

Funny Thing About Alcohol

It seems that everyone wants to jump on the band wagon and have their own brand of alcohol. Ed Mcmahon has teamed up with the Russians to provide a premium bottle of Vodka that outshines the rest. Coming to a store near you... SYKO SPICED RUM. It'll bring out the pirate in ye. ARRRRRR!!!

Robo Cop 2006

This photo is of a drone that is used to fly over various parts of the Middle East to photograph information and to be used as a weapon. In Los Angeles the police have just launched a similar device to do their job while they get to spend more time at Krispy Kreme Donuts. Read the full story here.

GOALLLLLLLLLLLLL !!!!!

FIFA WORLD CUP SOCCER is alive throughout the world. However for some reason it's popularity here isnt as grand. It's a pretty hair raising sport and I give alot of credit to those athletes out there playing their hearts out in Germany. 24 futball teams are at battle and so far the U.S. needs to put a fire under their feet to stay in the game. Mexico however is on fire.Check out the game on the official website.

I missed it.

June 14th was Flag Day and I totally forgot about it. Then again I honor my Flag every day. My country may be upside down but my pride as an American is right side up. To learn more about Flag Day click here.

Thats Not Fair!!

Every year I go and every year I wonder why? One of the reasons I made it out to the San Diego County Fairthis year is because the famous marine life artist WYLAND will be painting a new mural on the side of one of the buildings on the grounds. He also has an exhibit on hand dedicated to the environment. More pictures of that coming soon.

See you Latter

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in La Jolla. This religious organization was created by a dude in Vermont back in 1820. When he was 14 years old he saw God and was told that he will be a prophet and wrote about his experience and published the book of Mormon. Although it has been said that it was plagerized from Walt Whitmans book Leaves of Grass. Today it is a huge business as you can see from this church near San Diego. If your interested in becomming a Mormon heres another view.

Toasting My Freedom

This was my final toast of Barefoot Wine while on my last day of vacation. I drove aimlessly through backroads of southern California. To see more pictures click here to vist my Flickr account or find the icon at the bottom of this page. If you are not familiar with Flickr or Moblogging, Flickr is a site owned by Yahoo where you can store your photos. I use it for Moblogging. Moblogging is short for mobile phone web log. I can send pictures that I take at any moment from my camera phone and upload them live and if any of my friends or anyone on the Flickr site happen to be on there at that particular moment they can see what I am doing from wherever in the world they are viewing from. It's fascinating technology that has been around for a few years now. I can even do it here but I like to use this blog to babble my commentary on. If you have a Yahoo account all you have to do is log in to Flickr or sign up for a new account and be sure to add me as a friend. While you are there you can view some of my other looney online friends.

Thank you KOGO AM NEWS RADIO for hooking me up with a $25.00 gas card, a KOGO travel mug, and a KOGO CD wallet. I guess I'm also in the running to win a grand prize of alot of fuel. What a Batastrophie!!!

With all the problems in the world like mass murders in Iraq, threats of nuclear power, and immigration, it seems that Bat Woman being gay is the main headline. So what if she's gay?? It's a great novelty for comic freaks to go buy their premiere gay comic but like any other novelty I'm sure it will wear off. I dont think this is "head"line news. Maybe DC Comics should change their name to AC/DC comics and finally reveal why Robin is so special to Batman. Hmmm??

Fox Hill Tower

I spent many hours thinking about where my life was going in this very spot in Rockville, Connecticut. Click here for it's history.

Theres No Place Like Home

Down there somewhere I was born in the little town of Rockville, Connecticut. Hello to all my friends there.

Are You kidding me?

Next time you receive a message about an incurable virus, an electronic greeting card that automatically sends cards to all in you address book, gas boycotts, Bill Gates sending you money, and more; visit the Snopes Urban Legend Reference Site first. It has hundreds, maybe thousands, of these email hoaxes and legends, including one that claims I am the greatest Blogger of them all. Well thats true. So?
Snopes has information concerning the origin of the legend/hoax, the text of email messages carrying the falsehood, an explanation of any aspect of the story that may have a basis in truth. It's the place I go first whenever I get an email stating the United States Postal Service is going to begin charging $.39/email because it's loosing too much revenue because of email.

Internet Explorer Sucks.

I just became aware that most people in the world still use Internet Explorer as their web browser. Now I feel like a fool. I use Firefox and when I look at my blog it's much more organized than when I look at it from Internet Explorer. The award-winning Web browser Firefox just got better. It’s free, easy to use, and offers a faster, safer way to view the net. Join the millions of people worldwide enjoying a better Web experience. Click on the Firefox Icon on this page and I promise you will thank me later.

Honor the Fallen

Instead of a question and answer, it is appropriate this Memorial Day to salute all those who have given their lives in defense of this nation. Without their sacrifices we would not be free to ask questions, to challenge our political leaders and to take an active role in our system of government. To them we owe an unrepayable debt. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and be safe.

Think I'll Go For A Walk

Seems like I am always running into snakes in every aspect of my life. It's so much more exciting to face them head on than to walk around them.

Fire Safe Cigarettes

I'm not a fan of smoking and I highly give praise to a group called the Coalition For Fire Safe Cigarettes. There are so many fires started by unattended butts that this sounds like a great idea. Visit their blog here and sign a petition to get it in action in your state. Cigarettes are the leading cause of home fire fatalities in the United States, killing 700 to 900 people - smokers and nonsmokers alike - every year. Do your part and get involved or just stop smoking. The very life you might save is your own.

Save Our Cross

A group of atheists have fought hard to remove this cross and it seems they have won. Mt. Soledad will soon lose it's landmark but people like myself are willing to make sure it stays. I say write to President Bush and ask him to step in. I am not even religious myself but it's really sad to see people hate something so much that they would go to great lengths to delete it.

Veterans Memorial

This is a small part of the Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial in San Diego, California. It has been built as a bas to a cross that has been on top of this hill and sat proudly here since 1914. It hosts a 360 degree view of the mountains and ocean of San Diego County. It serves as an inspiration for sailors coming back to port after being out to sea.

Easy on the Caffeine

I used to be addicted to caffeine. Any way I could consume it I would. 10 Diet Cokes a day as well as several cups of Java. I checked my blood pressure the other night when I got home from work. My Pulse is 54 bpm but my blood pressure is 170 over 110. This spooked me and I have since changed my diet and drinking habits. I have been ill ever since. Tomorrow I throw in the towel and see a doctor. Stay Tuned.

I Just Saved A Whole Lot On Insurance!!

I'm totally amazed that I could put my cell phone this close and this guy was totally unafraid.

Don't Feed The Squirrels

I saw this little guy and decided to look up the California Laws on feeding the squirrels. To my dismay I found out that in January they planned on exterminating them in Santa Monica. Does this little guy look like a threat?

Honor Thy Mother

When I was 7 years old I came home from school to find out my mom had expired. This sunday gives you the chance to honor your moms and appreciate them for your existence. Pajamagram is a great last minute gift idea if you havent done so yet. Thank you Moms of the world and Happy Mothers Day.
